Town got back to winning ways after their FA Vase exit at the weekend to record a 6-3 win over Maltby Main.
Brett Agnew scored four first half goals with Joel Sutton adding a fifth before half time. Ryan Carroll had pulled one back for Maltby with the score at 2-0, the half time score read 5-1 to the Seasiders.
Andy Norfolk scored in the second half with Town cruising, this was before a Josh Schofield free kick and a last minute Oliver Lawrence goal took the game’s goal tally to nine.
Town are now up to fourth in the league with a few games in hand on the top three. Manager Curtis Woodhouse was understandably pleased with the end result, and a completely different performance to Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Pickering.
