Bridlington Town AFC – The Community Club

After recent negative incidents at the club I would remind everyone of the positive things we have happening at the club which may not be too exciting for social media but is very important for the local community.

See the attached list of community activities which the club provide the facilities for free:-

We also have some excellent charity activities coming up in the summer:

  • Sunday 16th June, 2023 – our annual DISABILITY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT with our own team and visiting teams from West Yorkshire
  • Sunday 23rd July, 2023 – Fishers AFC charity game
  • Sunday 3rd September, 2023 – Geo Veterans charity game
  • Sunday 10th September, 2023 – Matts Legends charity game

These games along with our local cup finals in May show what an excellent community facility we have.

We are grateful for the continued financial support we receive from the East Riding of Yorkshire Council to help with some of the groups.

We also thank the Northern Premier League “Trident Community Fund” for their grant towards the cost of The Sporting Memories group activities.

I personally would like to thank all the volunteers who regularly help out on match days and also the volunteers who help run the community groups.

Onward and upwards.

Peter Smurthwaite

Chairman
