Bridlington Town AFC is a community football club based in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. We are passionate and understanding of the wider role that football clubs can play in assisting communities local to them. Our community programme is varied and not exclusive to football or sport – ‘we do things differently’ and our community programme is evidence of this.
Working with Adults

Sporting Memories Network
The Sporting Memories Network is a charity that we have partnered with to run monthly sessions for older people living in the area who may have dementia, depression or be socially isolated and aims to engage them in social activities that help them to recall memories of watching or playing sport.
By sharing memories of sporting moments and tapping into a passion for sport, the sessions help people to connect with others and with their past, reawakening positive thoughts and feelings that may otherwise remain hidden away.
The sessions are held the last Thursday of the month from 1.00pm to 3pm at the Town Bar, Bridlington Town and are free to attend. The sessions are led by volunteers and have proved popular with us now looking to develop the group further.

Andy’s Man Club
ANDYS MAN CLUB is a Men’s Mental Health Charity – Offering free-to-attend talking groups for men and challenging the stigmas around Male Mental Health.
We started off as one group in the small, northern town of Halifax. That first night 9 men turned up and spoke. There was a magic in that room that everyone knew had to be shared. #ItsOkayToTalk
