Club Statement: Pete Davidson

Bridlington Town can confirm that Pete Davidson has made the decision to retire from football, leaving the club by mutual consent.
A familiar face at Queensgate, Pete first joined the Seasiders in 2020. After a period away during the 2022/23 season, he returned to the club for the 2023/24 campaign. Having represented several clubs throughout a long and respected career, Pete has decided that Bridlington is where he wants his playing days to conclude.

A Message from Pete:
“I want to say a massive thank you to all the fans for the incredible support you’ve shown me over the years. It’s been a privilege to play for this club. I won’t be a stranger—I’ll still be supporting the boys and I’ll definitely be at games from time to time to cheer them on. Thanks for everything.”

The club would like to thank Pete for his significant contribution across his two spells at Bridlington Town. We wish him the very best and look forward to seeing him at Queensgate as a supporter.
