Matty Dixon Signs!

We are delighted to announce the return of Matty Dixon, from fellow Northern Premier League East side North Ferriby.

The 30-year old is a product of Hull City’s academy, featuring for the first team in a league cup match against Accrington Stanley in 2015.

Now entering his third spell with the club, Dixon offers us versatility, being able to operate comfortably at full-back and in midfield.

Mike Thompson said: “I’m so happy to welcome Matty back to the club. I managed to bring Matty back to the club in 2022 and during that time he was superb for me. We had a number of approaches for Matty that season due to his stand out performances but it was great to see he stayed loyal to what we were looking to achieve. 

“Matty has since moved onto North Ferriby but he was right at the top of my list in relation to players I trust, players I know I can hang my hat on and a player that is versatile in what he can bring this team moving into a pivotal stage of the season. Another fan favourite that I am so happy to bring into this group, welcome back Matty.”
